Torns Park is a lovely old house with wonderful views. We were made to feel very welcome. It felt like a home rather than a holiday rental. Nearby Ashburton is very friendly, inviting and interesting. We had a fantastic holiday. Mrs P, Coventry, West Midlands 21 August 2010
We have just spent Christmas at Torns Park and was very happy with the accommodation. We were welcomed on arrival by the house keeper and were looked after throughout our stay. The accommodation was clean and spacious throughout, and the views were stunning from all aspects of the house. A lovely property that I would recommend for those wishing to have a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings.
Mrs G, BIRMINGHAM 30 December 2009
The house is in a lovely central location for visiting the moors and the coastal towns. Ashburton itself, is a lovely interesting town with everything you need in it, including the Red Mullet, a very nice take-away for fish and chips. A very nice pub to eat at is The Rising Sun in Woodlands, about 1 mile from Ashburton. Mrs M, Upminster, 20 August 2009
We like to holiday with extended family so this holiday home was perfect as there was enough room not to get under each others feet.
The views were glorious and peaceful.
The location of the home was ideal, with so many attractions just a short car journey away!! If we return to Devon we would defintely want to stay at Torns Park, Ashburton again! Mrs R, Beverley, North Humberside 01 August 2009
The location/views from the property are stunning, you can be in Dartmoor National Park in minutes and enjoy amazing walks/views. This is a real "get away from it all" holiday in a great older style English house. It will spoil you for staying anywhere else. Most importantly for us our dogs are always welcome which means we are happier and relaxed. Mrs K, Broadstone, Dorset 27 June 2009
A delightful place! Mr T, Fleet, Hampshire 09 May 2008

I would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Both the standard of the accommodation and the friendly welcome and assistance throughout the week were excellent! Mr B, Birmingham, West Midlands 13 April 2007
The view from the verandah was outstanding. The peace and tranquility was uplifting and there were lots of places to visit. Mr B, Southport, Merseyside 11 August 2006
